Dr. Patricia Allison
Consultant for Educational Programs
Developing Leaders for Successful Schools
Dr. Patricia Allison has worked as a Teacher, Administrator, and Director in the state of Arizona since 1986, following years of teaching experience in the state of Kansas . She earned her B.A in Elementary Education from Wichita State University , a Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University , and a Doctorate from the University of Phoenix Online
As a graduate of the National Staff Development Council Academy , Dr. Allison has extensive experience in the use of research and instructional practice applicable for training new teachers and administrators as educators serving students from varied backgrounds and ability levels. Dr. Allison serves as an adjunct professor for Grand Canyon University by teaching online Masters courses and supervising student teachers. In addition to her present position with Grand Canyon University , Dr. Allison works as an educational consultant in the state of Arizona as an instructor, offering valuable learning opportunities for those new to the teaching profession. Dr. Allison additionally works with the Exceptional Student Services Department of the Arizona Department of Education in the areas of recruitment and retention of new teachers, coaching professional development leadership teams in schools across the state, and serving in a collaborative learning environment for school improvement initiatives.

Ms. Marcia Andrews
Principal - Palm Beach School District (FL)
 
Mrs. Andrews attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. She holds a Master of Science degree in Administration and Supervision from Nova University. Mrs. Andrews is currently a Principal in Palm Beach School District in Florida. She has been in the education realm for over 30 years. She has held many positions as a teacher and a principal. She has also worked in the central office for Florida School Districts.
Prior to the new position of being a principal, Ms. Andrews was the Administrative Director of Recruitment and Program Planning/ Chief Officer of Recruitment. She was responsible for the overall supervision for developing, implementing, and directing Palm Beach School District’s recruitment programs that attracted a high quality diverse teaching workforce.
 
Dr. Ainsley Carry
Associate Vice President and Dean of Students
 
Dr. Ainsley Carry is the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students at Temple University . His areas of responsibility include University Housing, Campus Recreation, Student Activities, Career Development Services, Judicial Affairs, Orientation, Leadership Programs, Student Center , and Student Media. Dr. Carry earned his masters degree in Counseling and doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida .
He has served as a college administrator since 1992 working at Southern Methodist University, the University of Arkansas , the University of Florida and Temple University .Dr. Carry is a strong advocate for student leadership and personal development. He believes the central mission of higher education is to develop competent leaders. "Our greatest gift to the future" he said, "is sound leadership." He has amassed an impressive body of work as a leadership educator and consultant. He is frequently invited to keynote student leadership conferences and consult with colleges and universities on leadership program development. He has served as a lead facilitator for the NCAA Student Athlete Leadership Conference and the LeaderShape Institute. Dr. Carry is a father and husband and aspires to become a college president.

Dr. Gifty Chung
Director, Forest Trail Academy

Dr. Chung is originally from Ghana, West Africa. She comes from a family background of educators. Her family truly believes in the proverb, it takes a village to raise a child. Dr. Chung’s family has had a tremendous educational impact in her village back home. Struggling in the American education system herself, she vowed to continue her passion of educating all students no matter their environmental situations. She believes that appropriate education is one thing in which everyone should have equal access.

Alternative education such as online schools has become the solution for numerous people in various situations. Being the director and a board member of Forest Trail Academy has been a dream come true. Dr. Chung received her BA in Sociology and a minor in general education from the University of Florida (Go Gators). She received a Masters in Secondary Education with licensure in Spanish, and Principalship certification from the University of Akron. She later earned her doctorate degree in Education/Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Dr. Constance W. Nihart
Professor

Dr. Nihart is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. She comes from a long lineage of educators. Most of her family and extended family has served in the educational field, whether it was as a teacher, principal, or a Superintendent of a school system. Education has been a major influence in her life.

Dr. Nihart is currently licensed to teach in North Carolina. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Mars Hill College, a Masters

in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University, and a Doctorate in Education/ Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Her doctoral program granted her the opportunity to obtain a degree in an online environment such as you are doing! “Using the online learning environment offered sound educational benefits such as enhancing student-to-student and faculty-to-student communication, enabling student-centered teaching approaches, and providing 24/7 accessibility to course materials. Learning online was a valuable experience I will never forget and will always cherish.”

At the beginning of her teaching career, she taught fourth and fifth grade for five years and was a Reading Specialist in K-1 for one year. She then taught Early Childhood Education courses at the high school level for two years. Currently, Dr. Nihart has been teaching in higher education at Montreat College for three years and is actively involved in training and supervising future Elementary Education teachers. Dr. Nihart has also developed curriculum for the Elementary Education Masters program at Montreat College.

As a teacher, Dr. Nihart believes that making a difference in the lives of those students she has had the privilege to encounter is extremely important, however her main role as a teacher is to guide and nurture students to establish the skills needed to achieve health, respect, prosperity, and fulfillment. She feels teachers should empower students to believe in their own value, stimulate their interest to question, and provide the tools to discover answers. Dr. Nihart's goal as an active participant of this school would be the same.

Randall M. Shochet, Esq.
J.D., DMD

Mr. Shochet attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University. He later earned a D.M.S (Dentistry) degree from the University of Florida. He also holds a J.D degree from the University of Miami, Florida.

Mr Shochet was the CIVIL LITIGATION , DEPARTMENT CHAIR for KAPLAN UNIVERSITY (ONLINE) Boca Raton from 2003-2006.

He is currently an online adjunct faculty member for CONCORD UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF L AW , DEVRY UNIVERSITY, and POST UNIVERSITY.

Mr. Shochet is Licensed to Practice Law in Florida (Member of the Florida Bar ) Florida Bar No. 959421 and currently practices law in the state of Florida.

 
Mr. Vernon W. Wooldridge
Director of Educational Technology

Mr. Wooldridge was born in Richmond, Virginia. He moved to Phoenix in 1979. Mr. Wooldridge is presently functioning in the capacity of a Total Quality Learning (TQL) Consultant. He is CEO and founder of New Millennium Strategies. He also served as Director of Educational Technology, charged with managing systems to meet educational demands through technical innovations. Previously he was a change agent for the Department of Defense, gaining experience as Production Superintendent, Quality Auditor, Consultant, and TQM Instructor.

He also serves on the Arizona Governor's Board of Examiners for the State Quality Award from 1993 to 1997. As an advisor to the Antioch Church of God in Christ Board of Trustees he volunteered his services in facilitating the organization's first strategic plan. Mr. Wooldridge is a Doctoral candidate, who holds a Masters of Education, Counseling and Human Resource Management, from Northern Arizona University. He also earned his Graduate Total Quality Service Certification from the University of Phoenix where he is also an associate professor in undergraduate business. Hobbies: playing chess, coaching youth sports, watching actions movies, and last but definitely not least, he is simply fanatical when it comes to listening to Jazz Music.
