Course Objectives

After completing each course, the student will be able to:

  3. Measure and estimate using basic formulas, measurements, distance, rate, perimeter, area, volume, weight, mass and angles.
  4. Use mathematical reasoning to make conjectures and test them through counter examples.
  5. Use if...then statements to construct simple, valid arguments.
  6. Perform mathematical problem solving.
