Are you considering getting your GED? Forest Trial Academy offers a diploma with our HSEQ Program online. The HSEQ program can be completed in as little as 2-6 weeks; however, you have 90 days to complete all coursework from your enrollment date. In order to participate in the High School Equivalency Exam (HSEQ) program, you must be 18 or older.
The High School Equivalency Exam is composed of six (6) sections: Language Arts: Reading, Language Arts: Writing, Language Arts: Essay, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Four (Language Arts: Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) of the six components are comprised of multiple choice questions. Seventy percent (70%) or better must be attained on each section in order to receive a High School Diploma. Because Forest Trail Academy (FTA) is committed to your education, we allow each student one (1) extra opportunity free of charge to retake the test should you fail the HSEQ test on the first attempt.
If you attains less than a 70% on any section, please contact the main office in order for us to reset the HSEQ test. The four sections that are comprised of the multiple choice are automatically graded and that you will receive your grades immediately. However, please allow seventy-two (72) hours for the essay/writing component of the test to be graded.
After completing the High School Equivalency Exam (HSEQ) program with a 70% or better on each section, please submit a signed transcript request form (TRF). Your transcript will be faxed, mailed to your home, and or institution of your choice. Once we verify that your academic requirements have been met and tuition has been paid in full, your will receive your High School Diploma in 6-8 weeks. |

All students who take this exam are required to pass with a 70% or higher in order to earn their High School Diploma.
Additionally, all students should be over the age of 18 in order to take the test, otherwise they have to have permission from their parent. |

Upon completion, most students enroll in a two (2) year college and later transfer to a four (4) year institution should the student chooses to further his/her educational endeavors later. Many of our students have graduated and have been able to further their goals both professionally and academically.
